ELLIPTICAL FIRE TANKS

APR Plastic Fabricating manufactures elliptical fire tanks, a type of wet-side tank, which have the unique capability of holding large amounts of water in a relatively small area. 

APR elliptical fire tanks are made from high quality copolymer polypropylene and are the only thermo-formed elliptical tank in the fire apparatus market.  Elliptical fire tanks are available in natural, black gloss or stainless steel wrap.  Our leak-proof extrusion welds are finished clean to allow for an exterior that is convenient to prep and paint. APR’s superior baffling system acts as the tank’s primary structural support system.  Elliptical fire tanks are typically utilized with tanker trucks (tenders), and their unique elliptical shape provides 1,000 to 4,000 gallons capacity.
